The Rumble are looking for the best Ultimate players in New York City.
The first tryout for the NY Rumble will be held on February 16th at Pier 40. Players will need to arrive by 6:45 AM to get checked in and geared up for a 7:30 AM to 10:00 AM intensive evaluation of their skills, knowledge and compatability.
“There are some great teams taking shape in the MLU’s Eastern Conference”, Says Michelle Kondracki, GM of the Rumble, “and we need to identify the talent necessary to compete and win. We have the potential to be a Championship team this year, and now is the time to find the players to take us there.”
The tryout will be held outdoors so players should dress warmly. Molded or turf cleats are both acceptable and players will be expected to bring both light and dark shirts.
Energy bars and water will be provided and there will be plenty of staff on hand to run the tryout and review performance. There will also be photographers and MLU video staff in attendance, so players should be prepared to spend a little time in the spotlight.
