Are you a talented Ultimate player? Are you willing to work hard? Think you could help improve the New York Rumble? Then come out to the New York Rumble’s Supplemental Tryout on February 22 and March 1 at Pier 40.
Players will need to arrive by 6:45 AM to get checked in and geared up for a 7:30 AM to 10:00 AM intensive evaluation of their skills, knowledge and compatibility.
“We had a great team last year,” says Michelle Kondracki, Rumble general manager, “and I look forward to finding very talented players to fill in some of our weaker spots on the roster.”
The tryout will be held outdoors, so players should dress warmly. Molded or turf cleats are both acceptable, and players will be expected to bring both light and dark shirts.
Energy bars and water will be provided, and there will be plenty of staff on hand to run the tryout and review performance. There will also be photographers and MLU video staff in attendance, so players should be prepared to spend a little time in the spotlight.
